RUTH (21 - 35, any ethnicity) a Moabite widow and daughter-in-law to Naomi who insists on returning with Naomi to Bethlehem. Despite Naomi’s pleading, and despite the fact Ruth will be viewed as a foreigner in Bethlehem, Ruth’s loyalty to Naomi wins out, overcoming her objections. Ruth’s continued faithfulness catapults these two widows into a promising life and unexpected ending in Bethlehem.

BOAZ (35 - 55, any ethnicity) a wealthy Hebrew landowner in Bethlehem, and relative of Naomi. His name means “strong” and his character is impeccable. He risks his good name and reputation to help Ruth, and ends up falling in love with her.

KINSMAN (30 - 60, any ethnicity) a Hebrew man in Bethlehem, and relative of Naomi. He is in a unique position to help Naomi & Ruth in their widowhood, and Boaz compels him in front of the whole town to make his decision and changes the course of history for everyone. Project: Fishbowl

"Fishbowl," is a student film.

Logline: In Brooklyn's drill scene, a deadly feud between former friends turns violent, forcing a young man to navigate loyalty, betrayal, and revenge.

Synopsis: The film opens with the tragic drive-by shooting that leaves Baby Bro in a coma, setting the stage for the central conflict. See the growing tension between Kayvon and Jelani, fueled by jealousy and past grievances, and the pressure Kayvon faces from the streets and social media to retaliate. Tez, a mutual friend, enters the picture, offering guidance to Kayvon but with ambiguous motives. As Kayvon grapples with the decision to seek revenge, Tez pushes him to be more strategic, but Kayvon’s impulsiveness leads to a series of failed attempts to confront Jelani. The rivalry intensifies as Jelani publicly taunts Kayvon, further escalating the tension. Kayvon’s internal struggle and the external pressures mount, driving him deeper into a world of violence and paranoia. Tez’s influence grows, but his true motives remain unclear. The film climaxes when Kayvon and Tez plan a final confrontation for Jelani. In a shocking twist, Tez betrays Kayvon, revealing his allegiance to Jelani. The betrayal leaves Kayvon vulnerable, and in a dramatic showdown, Jelani shoots Kayvon, fulfilling the tragic cycle of violence that has been building throughout the film.
